SEX is a word most people are shy to say or use outside even in Churches, Schools, the environment and so on but this word SEX is a word that really affects us on a daily basis either directly or indirectly.
In the world today, most Pastors don't say it in Church because they believe it is sacred. At schools, teachers, principals are also afraid to say the word because they believe it is the duty of the parents. To make it worse parents who should teach their children what SEX is all about, do not say it because
they think the child is still unwise about the issue.
How do children, teenagers, youths get to know about the issue?
How do we get to know about SEX, if the system (church, school, parents, Environments and so on) refuse to tell us about it?
We get to know via watching of illicit videos, reading of books (magazines, romantic novels, books that talk on sex), friends (when they chat) , through the communication media (television, advertisement, some movies, music and so on), through the internet and other avenues .
WHAT IS SEX
My own definition of SEX is that it is a physical relationship between a man and a woman under the umbrella of marriage for the purpose of recreation, to sustain love and to satisfy their desires. When sex is done before marriage or outside marriage, it is called premarital sex/extramarital sex.
WHAT SEX IS NOT
Most young people confuse SEX with LOVE. SEX is not LOVE and LOVE is not SEX. That is why a guy will have SEX with you without loving you and same with the girls. SEX is more of a head thing while Love is a heart thing. When SEX is done at the right time in marriage, it works hand in hand with LOVE. Sex is not eternal; it can only be done on Earth in marriage. When sex is done outside marriage, it could earn you a place in eternal damnation. Your virginity as a lady is the best gift you can ever give to your husband, PRESERVE YOUR CHASTITY.
EFFECTS OF PRE-MARITAL SEX
Ø It is a sin in the sight of God.
Ø It exposes us to emotional trauma.
Ø It leads to guilt and fear
Ø Leads to rejection and disappointment
Ø Your destiny could be truncated.
Ø Your life could be cut short via abortion or sexually transmitted diseases.
Ø Unwanted pregnancy is certain.
Ø Education or career could be distorted.
Ø It builds lack of trust between married couples, i.e. the man when he sees another man with his wife (who was promiscuous as a youth) even in the most innocent circumstances, the man still has his doubts, vice versa.
SEX AND WHAT THE BIBLE THINKS
SEX is meant for marriage.
SEX is not meant for outside marriage. 1Corinthian7:12.
The bible really frowns at SEX outside marriage.
1Corinthian 6:13, Colossians 3:5. Jude 1:7. Hebrew 13:4.
The bible showed us in Proverbs 5:19 that SEX IN MARRIAGE is pleasurable and is designed by God.
If the bible’s sex before marriage were obeyed, there would be fewer Sexually Transmitted Diseases, fewer Unwanted babies, fewer death and abortion.
ABSTINENCE is God's only policy when it comes to SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE.
ABSTINENCE SAVES LIVES, PROTECT BABIES, GIVES SEXUAL RELATIONS THE PROPER VALUE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HONOURS GOD.
In conclusion SEX IN MARRIAGE IS GOOD AND RIGHT BUT SEX OUTSIDE MARRIAGE IS SINFUL PERVERSION.
